Simon Harris, Minister for Further & Higher Education, Research, Innovation & Science, on his visit to Pres this morning

We were delighted to welcome Minister Simon Harris to our school this morning to meet with our current 6th years. He spoke for approximately 30 minutes on CAO Options, Apprenticeships etc. Our students then engaged with him in a lively Q&A.. Such a well timed conversation, given the stress that can so often be caused by filling out the traditional CAO form and great to see that there are so many more options available for all students, irrespective of the points they receive. Much appreciated by all the students.
