All in the College wish our Class of 23 the very very best. We had a lovely ceremony in the Sports Hall this evening. Wonderful music from our resident pianist Artur. Lots of words of wisdom tonight from parents, year head etc. Richie Murphy in his address to all the lads, reminded them “to always be proud to be a Pres Boy”. Mr Locke wrapped the evening up with the words “Be Kind”.
Our Award winners tonight were:
Mikey Doyle- who received the inaugural Aaron Smith PBST Award from Aaron’s parents. This was an emotional part of this evening’s ceremony. Aaron’s memory will continue to live on here in the College.
Jack Murphy- Sportsperson of the Year. A deserving one too, as were fellow nominees Finn Treacy and Billy Corrigan. All Rugby Internationals. We are very proud of them all.
Lorcan Smith – Student of the Year – another very popular winner. Lorcan had stiff competition in Christophe Oudart and Mikey Doyle for this Award.
For the last time, the lads received their Presentation College Yearbook.
We wish them all the very best in the LC and far beyond.
Thanks again to all who made this evening possible. Mr Dillon got a special shout out during the event and will hopefully have a special last few weeks here in Pres. We will all miss him!!
