Today was the turn of our 1st years! So, the sun wasn’t shining for us today, but nonetheless we had our Wellbeing Walks along the seafront and Mauds Ice-cream parlour served us some delicious treats, a 99, a slushie or even a “Pres Special”.
A few even got to pull their very first 99! Beatrice looked after us all in style.
Our 1st Years also completed the One Good School (OGS) course “Let’s Talk- Sure Why Not?” and participated in a poster competition on the meaning of “Wellbeing” and “Mental Health”.
Today’s winner was Luke Gilmore in 1.1. Our 3rd Year Winner has also been decided, Rory Keane in 3.1. Well done to all three of our winners and to all our lads for taking part so whole-heartedly in all the events.
A big shout-out to our Parents Association for organising our delicious ice-cream treats and a huge “Thank You” to Mr Mc Inerney and the Pres Bray OGS team for putting together such a fun week.
We all need to be able to talk about our Mental Health and hopefully this week has helped somewhat.
It is almost time for a long Bank Holiday weekend! That is also very good for our Wellbeing. Enjoy.
