TY Award Ceremony – receiving their JCCA’s

The TY group gathered this morning in the Canteen to receive their Junior Cycle Certificates of Achievements (JCCA’s). These Certificates show their final Summer exam results, details of their CBA descriptors and their Other Areas of Learning (OAL’s), where students wrote about what other skills they learned during their three years in Pres eg development of communication skills, staying fit and well and developing creatively.
We had 3 award categories:
Best OAL’s – Andrew O’Callaghan
Best CBA’s – Daniel Nolan
Best Overall -Daniel Nolan
Well done to the two winners, but also to all the lads who put time and effort into compiling their OAL’s and for all their efforts throughout the CBA process.
On now to thoughts of the Leaving Cert and we wish them all the very best with their studies.
