Despite a valiant effort in last nights All Ireland Knockout Round against Sandford Park School, the Senior Debating team were narrowly defeated, bringing about an end to the competitive year for the senior team. 
 
From preparation to performance, each of the senior debaters gave 100% in all of their rounds this year. The lads produced a stellar performance last night and even though each speaker gave their best performances of the year it was not meant to be. Regardless, it is safe to say that the future is still so bright for debating in Pres. 
 
Next week, the Juniors are back in action in UCD, and we are sure that they will continue to fly the Pres flag in style. Once again, a lot of thanks to Mr Coster for all his work with our debaters.
