A huge Congratulations to all the Award Winners at this evening’s event. It was great to see the Sports Hall looking so festive and very heartening to see so many parents there. There were numerous award categories, but our Master of Ceremonies, Mr Fleming kept everything ticking along.
Many Spirit of Pres, Sports, Excellence and Consistent Endeavour Awards were handed out and we are always so very very proud of our Students of the Year. What a fabulous award to win. Only our 6th Year Student of the Year is yet to be revealed. That will happen next Monday at our 6th Year Graduation.
The evening was an emotional one too with a beautiful and very fitting tribute to Liz Forster, our former Chair of the Parents Association. Liz’s memory will continue to live on in Pres through the “Liz Forster Award”
Marie O’Toole was inducted into the Pres Bray Hall of Fame for all her wonderful achievements in her twenty years of coaching in our school.
Mr Fleming got a special mention, as he is sadly leaving our College this Summer, after many happy years here. He will be missed.
Events like this evening, can only happen when there is a dedicated team in place to ensure that all runs smoothly. A special word of thanks to Ms/Mme Levesque, Linda and Ms Mc Carron. Our TY trio of photographers, Thomas Gaskin, Rory O’Briain and Oran Phillips, made photography look easy. Their photos will no doubt be a lot more professional than these.
